Sam Brown

U.S. Army Captain - Retired, Wounded Warrior, West Point 2006

By the age of 25, Samuel had experienced more in his life than he ever expected. Following a nearly fatal blast in Afghanistan, this 2006 graduate of West Point and Infantry officer in the US Army was stripped of almost everything he had worked to attain. Left to choose between despair and hope, Samuel leaned heavily on his faith to re-build his life. The next three years were a series of magnificent triumphs over pain, fear, and probabilities interspersed with some challenged that tested his faith and resolve. Samuel has spoken to a wide-range of audiences from high school football teams and baccalaureate ceremonies to the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals and the annual Battle Command Conference at the United States Military Academy. Samuel takes pleasure in adapting his life experiences in leadership and personal recovery to connect with his audiences about faith, hope, love, and courage.
