Josh Davis

Five time Olympic Medalist, Motivational Speaker, Family Man

Josh earned five Olympic medals while modeling a life of integrity and balance. He was able to achieve family and business goals while pursuing an Olympic dream. Josh learned to maintain this balance by developing seven habits for achieving goals. Inevitably, applying these habits has thrust Josh into leadership opportunities and he has developed the skills to perform under intense pressure and bring out the best in his team.

At the age of 16, Josh was captain of the first USA junior team in 1989. At 17, he was elected captain of his high school team, then his college team in 1994 , then was co-captain of the USA swim Team for three years from 1997 to 2000. Josh shares his principles of leadership that anybody can apply to achieve maximum effectiveness for a group striving for peak performance.

In 1996 Josh Davis made history by becoming the only man in any sport from any nation at the Atlanta Olympic Games to win three gold medals. With a passion for representing our country, Josh returned to the Olympics in Sydney in 2000 where he was elected Captain of the USA Men’s swim Team. He went on to break the American record three times in his event the 200 meter free-style and won two silver medals at the 2000 Sydney Games. After two Olympics and five medals, Josh has established himself as ambassador for the sport of swimming and is pioneering the road for the next generation of professional swimmers. Josh has a total of ten swims at the Olympics and each time he achieved a zone experience while pursuing excellence.
