Mike Ashburn

Mike “Ash” Ashburn comes to us from Fishers, Indiana
He is currently the special assistant to the president of Young Life, and has been affiliated with that ministry since 1978.
During a four year “retirement” from Young Life 2008-2011, he was president and founder of Gospel Seed Ministries, Inc… a ministry of spreading the seeds of the Gospel through entertainment, humor, storytelling, and speaking.
As part of his Gospel Seed Ministry “Ash” was a featured entertainer at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN during their “Kidsfest” in the summer … performing his one man show … “The Whittlin’ Man”.
He was also a chaplain at CP Morgan Homebuilders in Indianapolis and Charlotte.
“Ash” travels throughout the world with Young Life and has performed in 49 states and over 52 countries.

He has also produced a sex & dating video called “Let’s Talk About It”: A Candid Discussion with Ash About Sex & Dating, promoting abstinence and a biblical perspective of relationships for teenagers.
He is father to four and a grandfather!
His hobbies are hunting, fishing, frog gigging, and puttering around the garage… his favorite thing to do is being with his family.
